Alli & Arthur’s cat enclosure masterpiece

Alli & Arthur cat runs 3

Alli and Arthur live in WA and chose CatSafe cat enclosures, for a very large cat enclosure, an enormous 14 metres long and 3 metres wide which would include both their front verandah and their carport, we thought they might have a few problems installing such a large and complicated enclosure.

Our installation instructions included how to install the support posts, sting line and mark out the set out, dig the holes for the support posts, align and concrete the posts in position, and they had to do all this before they even started on the cat enclosure installation.

Our concerns where obviously unjustified, just have a look at the fantastic cat enclosure that Alli & Arthur have achieved.

CONGRATULATIONS. Its a credit to you both.

V & M’s magnificent cat run (stage one)

V & M’s rear of house cat run is 7 metres long and 4 metres wide which would make most cats extremely happy.

Amazingly, this magnificent cat run is V & M’s stage one for their five cats and two dogs, and is such a success that an extension twice the size of the original (13 m long and 4 m wide) has now been constructed that completely covers their garden. As you can see they followed the contours of the rock wall and into the garden bed.

Wasabi’s cat run

S & K wanted to give their beautiful Birman a cat run as a 2011 Christmas present but they thought it would be very difficult as they are renting and did’nt want to drill any holes, so between us we worked out how to build an cat run for Wasabi.

By attaching the side to the downpipe, using hooks into the gutter and squeezing a length of timber on the pavers between the house and the fence they were able to complete the cat run without any drilling.

This is what S & K had to say when they had finished.

“A big thankyou from us and of course Wasabi, she is delighted with her new cat run, never seen her happier. We have passed the word around to friends and the local vet saying how impressed we are with your company”.

AJ’s WA cat run

AJ, in Western Australia has installed this fantastic, 4.5 metre wide, side of house cat run in 2011.

AJ has since sold his house and the buyers loved the cat run so much that he left it behind and he is currently building a second cat run for his new house.

AJ’s brother, Luke liked what he saw and has now installed his own very long side of house cat run featured in “Luke’s cat run”

Luke's long cat run

Luke’s cat run

Luke has a very long and narrow side of house cat run, it’s 15.4 metres long and 1.3 metres wide.

Luke visited his brother who had recently installed a large cat run, and was so impressed with his brother AJ’s cat enclosure, that he decided to install one at his own home so his cat could get some fresh air, night and day.

Ash’s cat run in WA

Ash’s side of house cat run

Ash lives in WA and chose CatSafe for his cat run, which is 4.9 metres long and 2.2 metres wide, is on the western side of his house.

Ash wanted some extra protection for his cats during the middle of summer so he placed a tarp on top of the netting over part of the cat run for extra shade.

If you cover your own cat enclosure or cat run with a tarp, remember to make sure you have enough slope on the roof panel for rainwater run-off and also install extra support cords so they will support the netting and the tarp in the event of a downpour.

Michelle’s Ragdoll cat enclosure

As a Rag Doll cat breeder Michelle needed to enclose her cats, particularly her breeding queens, so Michelle chose to enclose part of her verandah with a CatSafe cat enclosure.

Michelle also chose to install the entry on an angle which gives her a lot more room for a large entry zip.

Michelle now has the peace of mind of knowing her precious Rag Doll cats get plenty of fresh air and are also protected from danger.

Here is a wonderful example of a side of house cat enclosure, and although under two metres wide, it provides plenty of variety and space for their cats to explore while keeping them safe.

With a little effort or with the help of a friend, you too can install your own beautiful cat enclosure just like this one for less than $450.00.

Just send a couple of photos of the side of your house, together with the basic dimensions (length, width, height) to [email protected] and we will be happy to send you a quote.

Double Zip cat run entry

DoubleZipDoubleZip1

Here is a great idea or your cat run entry. One of our customers chose to install two vertical entry zips with a dowel at the bottom and a clip on each side, it makes a very good job and can be rolled up to the top, leaving a full size opening for your mower or your wheelbarrow.

Several new customers have requested similar entries in varying widths to their own cat runs, so we have added this option for all our customers and provide them with double zip installation instructions.

Fluffy Tigers new cat enclosure

Heidi & Matt installed this great cat enclosure for Fluffy Tiger.

As you can see, this cat enclosure attaches to the fascia and diagonally across to the edge of the pavers, so its 60cm at the top and 3 metres at the bottom with triangular sections at each end. This is a very good option if your boundary fence is not close and at 3 metres wide, your cats will have plenty of space to play and explore at ground level.

This small photo shows Fluffy Tiger’s first inspection of his new run, he looks delighted and a little bewildered at being outside for the first time!.
